There is no fate. In the analogy, it means that there are no pachinko bumpers, and the ball (person) is simply freefalling through life.

    I love Pachinko.

GOD knows where all paths end, but it is we who choose the path we live.

So they say….He is God, the Creator, so He creates vessels for mercy and vessels for destruction, as a witness for all men of His power. And no clay should dare to question what the potter is doing. The gift of salvation is offered to all …… if man should at a moment consider to seek Him and humble Himself and know that God is willing to accept anyone who will believe in Him, especially of the Holy one His Son, Jesus. Amen.

Common idea of Freewill is an illusion.

Our will is for God too. And life has its rewards.

In your example the choices the person makes are totally random. In real life we can choose the direction we take each time we encounter an obstacle. Hence, how we start out in life need not determine the path we take. Hitler or Stalin could have chosen to be good people but they did not. They had just as much potential to be good people as Mother Teresa or Ghandi.

How about if you consider that God is big enough and smart enough to have every move in his optional plans. So that if you screw up something that was meant to be then he has an alternate. The alternate plan may make the game last longer because getting the substitutes in place takes more time, and with almost infinite variables of people who choose to obey and people who don’t and everything in between He is God so He is the only one who can keep track of all the possibility’s and work it out.

I believe that if I obey God then I hasten the final return of Jesus. If I disobey I put it off. If I pray I can effect someone else perhaps being more successful in their obedience, et cetera et cetera.

God is so much bigger than our puny minds can grapple with I know that He is capable of this kind of management.
